Before you book... Please read

Service Guarantee

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience.  In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.

deposit required

To secure your appointment, we require  a deposit of 50% of the estimated cost of the service requested.  The remaining balance, including add-ons, is to be paid upon completion of the service. 


UPDATE

If your locs are extremely tangled, an additional charge of $30 for detangling will be applied to your balance.  

Also, if you have your locs styled, you are encouraged to take them down prior to arriving or you will incur an additional charge of $20 for style takedown.  

Refunds

All services are non-refundable  but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge.


The service must be a mistake from the service provider, not something that you changed your mind about after the service has been performed.  You have 48 hours to contact the loctician to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.  Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service.

It is important that you contact the loctician as soon as possible for a corrective service.

Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more the one service to achieve your desired result. 

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior. 

24 Hour Cancellation policy

We understand that due to your busy schedule, you may have to cancel or change an appointment. 


In order to respect the time of yours and  your loctician,  we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.   

You must reschedule your own appointment using the scheduling system. 




This gives us ample time to fill the appointment, should you need to cancel your service.  Appointments that are canceled less than 24 hours prior to the start of your service will result in the loss of your deposit, up  to 100% of the cost of services you are reserved for.  This fee will be charged to the credit card we have on file to secure your appointment.


Please be advised that calling, texting, dm'ing, calling somone's family etc. does not guarantee that your appointment has been canceled.   


Again, you must manage your appointment in the system. 


NOTE: If an appointment is rescheduled 3 individual times within the 24 hour window, you can no longer book with us. 

Late and No Show

Late: 

Please be mindful and courteous to your loctician and other clients.  If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may have to reschedule your appointment. 


No Show

In order to respect the time of your loctician, if an appointment is no showed, you will be subject to a $50 no show fee or a charge of 50%  of the total amount due for services, whichever is greater.  


Please be advised that if you No Show on a Re-Do reservation, you can no longer book with us, unless it is extenuating circumstances.

Squeeze ins are not encouraged

 Squeezing in clients causes disruption in the schedule for me and the clients that scheduled their appointments.  Therefore, they are NOT encouraged.   


However, if they do occur, expect the following:

- $35 Squeeze in fee, in addition to services

- $70 in addition to services,  if the request causes an appointment on a scheduled day off  



NO EXCEPTIONS.  

In order to avoid this, please plan your appointments accordingly, or plan to pay the additional charges for services if your squeeze in request is allowed and accepted.  

Children

Children prices are for children under the age of 10.  Children over the age of 10 will have to be charged for full price services.


 

Yes, I work with children however, if the child does not cooperate or is unruly, I will discontinue service and require 50% payment. 

Head lice

It is against our policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving service, we will not be able to complete the service the same day.  We will be able to complete the service AFTER head lice treatment has been completed. 

First retwist after starter locs

 When coming in for your first retwist after starter locs, all if not 90% of your starter locs should be intact with proper care. If not, the service will no longer be a retwist and the client will be charged for starter locs once more.

Information collected from this site is only used if we need to contact you for further information regarding your appointment.
